This project is the creation of an open source robotics control system.
This system is designed for ROV vehicles, but is equally usable in any environment. ROVduino was specifically designed to be used in harsh environments, and as such, is extremely robust, and hardened to protect against unforeseen circumstances. Both ends of the code – topside & bottomside – are coded to be feature rich, yet run with minimal overhead. Our code is capable of running optimally on lower end machines such as netbooks, despite running advanced networking and video features within the software.
